Babes United
Babes United is a magazine about entrepreneurial females who inspire us to create. The women featured are the movers and shakers of instagram; weavers, illustrators, makers and more. I designed the magazine to reflect the fun and sassy tone often seen in the works created by these babes.
Each issue features five babes with an article and photographs. The colors are unique to each spread and are influenced by the work created by that particular artist.
DIY articles are important to the Babes United brand. The idea is to offer inspiration and the tools needed to create your own works.
The DIY articles presented in the magazine are for weaving and embroidery. I decided to create physical pieces to enhance the DIY aspect of the brand.
The Babes United brand extends to the web providing access to viewers who may not have purchased the magazine. The design is similar to the magazine with bright colors but with added digital collateral such as video.
