Inclusive is a quarterly magazine that caters to the curious. Each issue is a holistic exploration of one subject through the eyes of many different countries and cultures. Issue 2 explores the taboo subject of death and decomposition in The United States, Nepal, and Ghana.
Inclusive is interesting, and sometimes unsettling. By using friendly typography, pastel colors, and stunning images, I was able to make the content feel more approachable and friendly.
I chose a typeface that is easy on the eyes and web friendly. The use of justified type and a 3 column grid allows the reader to digest the content rapidly without strain.
Each section features an infographic about the leading causes of death in that specific area. Every section is also complimented by a unique pattern that was inspired by the curated photography and art.
As a way to access my millennial demographic, I created an online Inclusive publication. Readers can access the Inclusive blog, share Inclusive content to social media, explore the art featured in the magazine, or purchase and subscribe.
